Welcome to Hugs from Home Georgia! College life can be exciting, but being away from home can also be challenging. That's where we come in! We are two local moms on a mission to bridge the distance between parents and their college-bound kids by personally delivering heartfelt care packages right to their doorstep. Whether it's a special occasion, a birthday surprise, or just a reminder that they're always in your thoughts, our care packages are designed to bring comfort, joy, and that warm feeling of home. At Hugs From Home Georgia, we understand the value of connection and the power of a simple hug, even when miles apart. We are dedicated to curating the most thoughtful packages, filled with love and essentials, to make your student's day brighter.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Select Your Care Package

    Choose one of our curated care packages, fill out the customized fields, and add it to your cart. Looking for something custom? We would love to help!! Reach out using the contact form at the bottom of the page!

  • Step 2: Add a Touch of Home

    During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to tell us a little about your student and write a personalized message to be included in their care package.

  • Step 3: We Take Care of the Rest!

    Relax and let us work our magic! We will coordinate with your student to hand-deliver their personalized care package and send you a holiday-card worthy picture showing their excitement!

What types of care packages do you offer?

We specialize in special occasion care packages, hand delivered with personalized notes from home. However, we also love surprising your students with customized Hugs from Home throughout the year! Whether it's a special occasion, a get-well soon surprise, or just a reminder that they're always in your thoughts, our custom care packages are designed to bring comfort, joy, and that warm feeling of home. How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Custom Care Packages: We would love as much notice as possible for all custom deliveries. But we also understand that life happens, and you may have a last-minute need! We can usually fulfill orders with 2-3 days, and sometimes even in 24 hours.  Please reach out to discuss your custom needs.

Seasonal Themed Care Packages: Pre-orders for our limited edition seasonal themed care packages typically end 2 weeks prior to delivery. Pre-order deadlines will be listed on the order page, when applicable.

How do you contact students to coordinate delivery.

We will reach out to students via text message the day prior to the scheduled delivery date. You will provide your student's contact information during the checkout process. We will do our best to work around their schedule and ensure that the meet-up spot is convenient to their dorm or apartment. We NEVER go inside the residence halls or apartment complexes to make deliveries.  We NEVER leave a package at a residence hall door or apartment door. We will ALWAYS deliver directly to your students and personally ensure they receive their special gift from home. That’s
part of our magic!

 

Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Of course! If your student has specific dietary requirements, allergies, or sensitivities, we strongly encourage you to contact us before making a purchase. Our team would be delighted to work with you to customize a package that meets your student's unique dietary needs.

Do you charge extra for delivery?

Nope! All of our prices include hand-delivery directly to you student by one of our local moms! We will also send you a picture of your student receiving their care package!
